Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office February 11, 2012. The Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the burglary of a rural Hitchcock County business. During the early morning hours of February 10, 2012, unknown individuals forcibly and unlawfully entered the Lakers NorthShore Restaurant and Bar located at 36123 US Hwy 34, Trenton, Nebraska. Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office January 13, 2012. The Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office investigated a single motor vehicle accident on Thursday, January 12, 2012, at approximately 5:54 P.M. The accident took place near mile marker 62 on U S Highway 6, approximately 3 miles east of Palisade, Nebraska. An eastbound 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by 53 year old Duane Lei, of Buffalo, South Dakota, left the roadway and collided with several trees on the north side of the highway. Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office January 14, 2012 The Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office investigated a single motor vehicle accident on Friday, January 13, 2012, at approximately 9:00 A.M. The accident took place on County Road 712, approximately 8 miles southeast of Culbertson, Nebraska. A northbound 2003 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 66 year old Sharon Frick of Herndon, Kansas, left the roadway and came to rest in the pasture on the west side of the county road. The driver was transported by private vehicle to the Rawlins County Hospital in Atwood, Kansas, for possible injuries. Hitchcock County Sheriff D. Bryan Leggott *********************************************************************** Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office January 14, 2012 The Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office investigated a single motor vehicle accident on Friday, January 13, 2012, at approximately 10:41 P.M. The accident took place on Old Highway 34, approximately 1 mile east of Trenton, Nebraska. An eastbound 1998 Chevrolet pickup driven by 45 year old Scott Propp of Culbertson, Nebraska, left the roadway and rolled, ejecting the driver. The injuried driver was transported to the McCook Community Hospital by the Trenton Ambulance. The accident is still under investigation by the Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office.
